Farewell Sessions for Your Companion

One last best day for your pal—whether they’re a dog, cat, lizard, or any other little critter.

I’m here to photograph the bond you share and preserve it forever.

A BIT OF MY STORY

In 2019 I started photographing my bearded dragons, Dino and Zero, regularly. I'd lost little family members before and had almost no good pictures of them — they were always just there, and I took that for granted.

I didn't want it to happen again. So I stopped waiting for special occasions and started documenting ordinary days: the way they sat in the afternoon sun, what they did when nobody was watching.

They both passed away without warning. Those photographs are the proof they lived — and that we had a good journey together.

I have my proof of Dino and Zero. If I can help you have yours, call or text me — whenever you're ready, or before you feel ready.

If they can still do the thing they love, we go and do it. The trail you always take. The corner of the park. The lake they charge into. The meal they only ever get on birthdays. Last hikes, last swims, last favourite places — photographed while they're still in them

And if they can't get up any more, that's alright too. We photograph them where they are, in the sun they like.

One Last Good Day

A session for your companion who is very old, very ill, or near the end. It happens wherever your pal is most comfortable — your living room, your yard, the patch of sun they sleep in. No hiking, no posing, no travel required.

You're in these if you want to be. Hands in fur, your forehead against theirs, the two of you on the floor. Showing your face is always optional.

What a Farewell Session Is

What the Session Costs

All inclusive. Every usable photograph, delivered at full resolution. One wall piece, up to 20×30, in whatever size suits your home OR up to six 5×7s to give to the people who loved them too.

How quickly?

Most people call later than they meant to — they decline faster than we expect.

Calling doesn't commit you to anything. If you just want to ask what a session would be like, that's a fine reason to call.

I'll answer the same day, always. What I can't promise is that I'm nearby: I travel across the West for other work, and sometimes I'm a long drive away.

If that's the case I'll tell you straight away rather than leave you hoping — and I'll help you find someone good who can be there.

When I'm close, I keep time open each week for this and can usually come within a day or two. Early morning, late evening, short notice, or whichever hour of the day they seem most themselves.

You'll have a preview gallery within 72 hours of the session.
